An absorbent article having: a longitudinal direction configured to extent to a body foreside and a body backside of a wearer; a widthwise direction which is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction; an inward direction configured to face a wearer; and an outward direction opposite to the inward direction, the absorbent article comprising: a front waistline region; a back waistline region; and a crotch region which is positioned between the front waistline region and the back waistline region, the absorbent article comprising: an absorbent main body having an absorber which is disposed at least in the crotch region; and an exterior body including an exterior body sheet which is disposed in the outward direction than the absorbent main body; wherein a plurality of opening units into which a finger can be inserted are formed in a face at the outward direction’s side of the absorbent article; the plurality of opening units are provided in an overlap region which overlaps with the absorber; and the plurality of the opening units are provided in at least one of the front waistline region and the back waistline region.
